Qualifications:

 

Required:

  • Valid Colorado Teaching License or eligible for Colorado Teaching License
  • Physical Education Endorsement
  • K-12 or Elementary Level

Preferred:

  • Exemplary classroom management and organizational skills
  • Kagan Cooperative Learning Training
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a strong team environment
  • Exemplary technology skills necessary for the school environment (i.e., Google Mail, Google Calendar, Infinite Campus)
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for all levels and types of learners (i.e., learning modalities, multiple intelligences, ESS, ESL, GT)
  • Previous experience working with a diverse, multicultural community
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • High expectations for all students
  • Previous experience developing meaningful professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Previous Health Education training
  • Previous Positive Behavior Support experience and/or training
