About

Salary:
Salary Grade D - $9.64/hr to start, $10.71/hr after six months, or appropriate placement on the salary schedule. Benefits available
Description:
20 hours per week during the school year.
Para works as a team member with students with disabilities ranging from first to fifth grade. Ability to be flexible is needed. Must be willing to assist with playground supervision, behavior management, small group lessons and lunch supervision. Depending on student needs, some lifting, changing and feeding may be required. Will also help support students in the regular classroom setting.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED plus two years college, or ability to meet NCLB requirements. Previous experience working with special needs students preferred.
