Qualifications
:
1) 5 years teaching experience
2) Willingness to understand and reinforce
the new Ohio Teacher Evaluation System
Responsibilities
:
1) Observe Resident Educator (at least
once a quarter)
2) Provide building level mentor support
to Year 1 Resident Educators in conjunction with District
Mentor
3) Attend District Mentor meetings,
workshops and training
4) Collaborate with the District mentor
and Resident Educator to complete components of required
paperwork
5) Schedule informal meetings and
observations to support Resident Educators on a weekly
basis
6) Have the ability to nurture Resident
Educators as a collaborator, coach, role model, and
confidant
7) Complete Resident Educator Year 1
Formative Progress Review as designated
