Club Care Program Paraprofessionals - Tier 2 - $11.96/hr

hours vary between 6:30 am - 6:00 pm

days will vary M-F

locations: various elementary buildings

Position Purpose :   Assist in the implementation of activities for Club Care School Aged Child Care Program

 

Responsible To:   Club Care Site Supervisor and Club Care Coordinator

Benefits of Employment as of July 1, 2010:   Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Student Support Staff (MSEA Association) and District 112.  This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.

Assist in Program Management

-  Assist with the maintenance  

   and appearance of the site

-  Inform Site Supervisor and  

   assist in the maintenance of    

   records of accidents or

   situations involving children,

   staff, or parents

-  Attend required staff meetings

   and trainings

 

-  Ability to take direction

-  Flexibility and ability to work  

   with a variety of staff

-  Willingness to learn about and 

   work with children with special 

   needs

-  Knowledge and application of

   basic mathematics and

   grammar

-  Knowledge of/use of basic first

   aid and safety precautions

-  Evidence of an understanding

   of the school culture and

   environment, and a commitment

   to carrying out the vision,

   mission, and belief statements of

   District 112
