GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
Detroit Community Schools is seeking a dynamic, energetic
K-8 Physical Education
Teacher
who maintains a positive learning environment, holds high
academic expectations, creates a student-centered classroom while
building rapport with students, parents, and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid Michigan teaching
certificate -Endorsement (MX or MB)
• Must meet NCLB
certification requirements
• Ability to relate
positively with students, teachers and parents
• Ability to work with other
professionals in a collaborative manner
• High level of interpersonal
skills to communicate verbally and in writing
