POSITION: Kindergarten Instructional Assistant - (2 positions)
29 hours/week (no benefits)
Primary Job Functions:
To work with pupils in improving their learning and behavioral skills. To assist the teacher with routine class work and instruction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Educational Requirements: High school graduate required. Advanced work beyond high school is preferable.
2. Possess Skills and Knowledge: In human relations and the ability to convey routine learning processes to pupils. The ability to listen and to have patience with pupils is essential. The ability to be firm, fair and consistent with pupils in a disciplinary role is also expected.
3. Experience: None required, but a willingness to accept and follow directions is of utmost importance.
4. Certification: None is required.
5. Other: Maintain a good relationship with pupils, staff, patrons, and the community.
SALARY BENEFITS: $13.24 - $14.36
