Responsibilites:
-Assist students with severe disabilities in both the regular and special education classrooms with schoolwork
-Assist case manager/teacher with paperwork on student's progress or regression an preparing materials
-Provide personal care to students requiring hygiene issues
-Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting of up to 50 pounds

Qualifications
Required:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Ability to communicate using American Sign Language
-Complete and submitted BVSD online application
-Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English, must pass English component of interview process
Preferred:
-Experience in working with children with multiple disabilities
-Positive communication, interaction and work experience with diverse people
-Basic bilingual skills
-Desire to work with a team in an educational setting
-CPI, CPR, and First Aid certifications within 30 days after hire
