· Valid Michigan secondary teaching certificate with a major in English or Language Arts
· Meets NCLB highly qualified requirements... major endorsement and passed the MTTC
· Can effectively apply and integrate technology to support meaningful teaching and successful student learning.
· Able to apply best instructional practices essential to inquiry based teaching and learning.
· Understands diversity of student learning styles and the need for differentiated learning.
· Knowledge of High School Core Curriculum.
· Demonstrates ability to use data to drive instructional decisions.
