  TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:  12 Month full-time position
SALARY:  $20.35/hr then $22.61 after 90 day probation


DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Performs journeyman level work as a carpenter and hardware maintenance as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: Education:  High School diploma/GED Knowledge:  Thorough knowledge of the practices, principals, methods, and equipment used in keying systems, hardware installation and maintenance.  Working knowledge of standard practices, methods, safety precautions, tools, and equipment of the carpentry trade. Abilities:  Ability to work from blueprints, plans and sketches; to estimate materials and time needed to complete the job; to use power tools; to establish and maintain an effective and efficient keying system; to maintain effective working relationship with others
EXPERIENCE:  SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A FOUR YEAR CARPENTRY APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM PLUS EXPERIENCE AS A HARDWARE MECHANIC OR ANY EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
