Position: High Potential Teacher/Instructional Coach/AVID Coordinator 1.0 FTE (Interview Only)
Location: Maplewood Middle School
Start date: August 27, 2012

Required Qualifications:
1. Must possess MN middle school Teaching license
2. Knowledge of the nature and needs of high potential, including differentiation strategies, assessment, and affective issues
3. Willingness to seek out, identify, and advocate for underrepresented populations, including culturally diverse students
4. Must have experience and/or training with AVID
5. Strong foundation in literacy and with instrucational strategies
6. Ability to work collaboratively and provide meaningful feedback
Desired Qualifications:
1. Minimum three years' teaching experience
2. Experience working with high potential students
3. Excellent communications skills
4. Self-motivation and flexibility
5. Ability and willingness to provide coaching, training, and support on differentiation
