TITLE:
TRANSFORMATION OFFICER
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Master's Degree
with training in administration or supervision, and curriculum
development, preferably on the secondary level.
· Illinois State
Certification with general supervisory or administrative
endorsements.
· Experience:
· Five years or
more of successful teaching, support, administrative, or
supervisory experience at the high school level is preferred.
· Three years of
successful experience in a certified position is required.
· Development,
assessment, and implementation of school improvement plans.
· Organization,
communication, presenting/training, and interpersonal
relations.
· The proficient
use of technology for workplace productivity and
presentations.

JOB
GOAL: Serves as a liaison between internal and
external stakeholders and to facilitate and
Monitor progress of the transformation process as it relates to
state and federal
guidelines.
PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Coordinate
restructuring school events.
· Work
collaboratively with principals and leadership team to design,
facilitate, and
Evaluate the SIG Transformation option.
· Display
courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions
with other members of the educational community and public.
· Research,
develop, and manage program requirements for Transformation
model.
· Plan
collaboratively with the Turnaround team to develop and
facilitate timeline/plans for implementation of the
Transformation model.
· Provide
training for school leaders on understanding and implementing
strategies related to the Transformation model.
· Works on data
and monitors student progress.
· Ensures
implementation of timeline.
· Directs, guides
and coordinates the total instructional program.
· Maintains a
healthy educational climate, together with good student
discipline.
· Cooperates in
the review and evaluation of the reform process.
· Makes
recommendations, together with the Superintendent and Lead
Provider, for the employment, promotion, and dismissal of
secondary teachers and other staff to the District Leadership
Team.
· Assists
teachers in the improvement of their teaching techniques through
the use of visitations, evaluation instrument, and in-service
training.
· Encourages
staff and student responsibilities through their participation in
the development and execution of school procedures and
policies.
· Maintains good
school-community relation, outlines and interprets the school
program to students, parents, and community.
· Assist with
preparation of teacher and pupil assignments and schedules.
· Assist with
conduct of staff meetings as required for the proper functioning
of the school.
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT:
Salary is based upon salary schedule established by the
board.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with
provisions of the Board's
policy in Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
