Responsibilities:
Substitute ASL interpreters will facilitate communication and provide access to instruction using a manually signed code (ASL) in the general education setting for students in kindergarten through post-secondary levels.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma/GED, ASL sign language skills, experience working with children/young adults.
Preferred Skills:
Preference given to candidates who have completed an Interpreter Training Program, and/or EIPA/BEI I/NIC interpreter certification, and the ability to work with minimal language students.
