The position requires Elementary certification, teaching experience preferred. Strong consideration will be given to candidates who demonstrate:
*Current knowledge of literacy/mathematics curriculum areas for 2nd grade students
*Knowledge of multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies that support academic skills development of students with diverse learning needs
*Collaborative teaming orientation, with a focus on student oriented decision making
*Strong classroom management skills that emphasize respect and rapport
