Position(s): Elementary School Counselor Position – 1 FTE .5 FTE Delta Center Elementary / .5 FTE Willow Ridge Elementary
Job Description: As a member of the school system's counseling staff, the elementary school counselor provides a comprehensive counseling and guidance program for elementary school students; consults and collaborates with teachers, parents, and staff to enhance their effectiveness in helping students; and provides support to other elementary school educational programs. Qualifications: Valid Michigan School Counseling Certification. Previous successful counseling experience at elementary level preferred. Classroom teaching experience at elementary level preferred. Bilingual ability desirable.
