Job Summary: The Crewperson 6 is responsible for leading crewpersons, assigning work, planning with building principals, and planning and coordinating with other supervisors. The Crewperson 6 must have the ability to perform all tasks involved in concrete pouring, sandblasting, patching concrete, installing and repairing parking lots, assisting in installation and repair of playground equipment and fencing and various earth moving operations. Knowledge of various types of materials and procedures used in the area is essential. Working overtime on short notice and performing snow removal operations is mandatory. A Kansas Commercial Drivers License-B is required; Kansas Commercial Driver’s License-A is preferred. A City Cement Contractors License is required in order to be hired for the position. Applicants that do not currently hold the City Cement Contractors License but who are eligible to obtain this license within 90 days will be considered.
