  Anticipated Part-Time Paraeducator Positions
 
Description:  The Administration is seeking a person qualified by education and experience to carry out the duties assigned to the position and in general, to establish and maintain a high level of standards of excellence in the Vernon Public Schools.
 
Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma required. 
  • Two years of college credit, or
  • An associate’s (or higher) degree, or
  • Provide evidence of passing a State Board of Education adopted Paraprofessional Assessment, which assesses content knowledge in mathematics, reading, and writing and an understanding of how to assist in the instruction of these topics

Salary:  The salary for this position will be in accordance with the salary schedule in the Paraprofessional contract.  Step 1 is $10.72 (benefits are not included with this position)
