Job Summary/Requirements: City of Wichita Electrical master's license preferred, journeyman license required. Commercial remodel and new construction experience preferred; knowledge of data/com wiring a plus. Overtime occasionally required. Daily schedule may fluctuate to accommodate deadlines and delivery of services. Must be able to work in temperature extremes. Must be able to carry a 20-30 pound tool bag, lift 75 pounds frequently, lift up to 150 pounds with assistance, and must be able to lift 25 pounds over head. Must be able to work in tunnels, climb ladders, work from man lifts and scissor lifts; frequent stair climbing carrying weight; and work with voltage up to 600 volts. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Basic asbestos training and certification required (to be paid by the district). A valid Kansas driver's license is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
