Salary:
$9.84/hr to start, $10.93/hr after six months. Benefits available
Description:
35 hours per week during school year.
Paraprofessional works as a team member with students with more severe behavioral disabilities ranging from Kindergarten to fifth grade. Ability to be flexible is needed. Must be willing to assist the special education teacher with components of the students' behavior and academic plans.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED plus two years college, Associates Degree or ability to meet NCLB requirements. Previous experience working with special needs students preferred.
