Willard R-II Schools is seeking a Vocal Director for the Theater at Willard High School for the 2012-2013 school year. The Vocal Director/ Musical conductor is responsible for everything related to music in the musical and other productions utilizing music; this includes soloist, chorus members, musical rehearsals, auditions, arrangements, and the technique and study thereof. The Vocal Director consults and collaborates and creates with all production staff members; artistically creating holistic, beautiful, and powerful performances; everything in this department will be educational, enlightening, and entertaining. This artist is available throughout the run of the show, including warm-ups and the proper training. This professional is capable of making changes to the score as necessary to accommodate the performer within the legal/copyright obligations. The requirement of the schedule is three hours per day to be divided within the school day and
evening and afternoon rehearsals.
