Description:
WORK YEAR: 179 days per year (multiple positions - see below)

CLASSIFICATION: A-1-2;

SALARY: minimum $12.61 per hour  

 

Available Positions:

Riverside Central Elementary School: 5.5 hours per day, 8:40 am to 2:40 pm

Riverside Central Elementary School: 5.5 hours per day, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Franklin Montessori School: 5.75 hours per day, approx. 9:10 am to 3:25 pm

Franklin Elementary School: 5.75 hours per day, approx. 9:10 am to 3:25 pm

Franklin Elementary School: 5.75 hours per day, approx. 9:00 am to 3:15 pm

Bamber Valley Elementary School: 2.5 hours per day, approx. 11:00 am to 1:30 pm

Pinewood Elementary School: 3.25 hours per day, 11:30 am to 3:15 pm

Bishop Elementary School: 2 hours per day, work schedule TBD

Bishop Elementary School: 3 hours per day, work schedule TBD

 

Job Summary: *Paraprofessional works with supporting students academically. *Working with students under the supervision of the classroom teacher. *Monitoring students in the playground and lunchroom. *Basic clerical support. *Performs tasks within the level of responsibility of position as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
*Minimum requirement of two years of college (48 semester credits), a two-year degree, or completion of the Para Pro Assessment. (Please include transcript with application.) *Experience working with elementary age students. *Computer skills preferred. *Flexibility and the ability to work as a cooperative team member. *Positive rapport with children including the ability to correct inappropriate student behavior with fairness and consistency. *Regular, on-time attendance is required.
