The following position is available:

Central

Custodian - Part Time

(NON-MMESP Position)

Deadline Date:                   August 27, 2012

Beginning Date:                                 Immediately (5 Hours/day, Monday through Thursday)

Rate of Pay:                         $11.00/hour                       

Qualifications:                      

• High school diploma preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and perform minor maintenance on building machinery and equipment.
• Ability to maintain a professional rapport in dealing with others.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Mt. Morris Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.  

Performance Responsibilities:

• Keep building and premises neat and clean at all times, including, but not limited to classrooms, corridors, bathrooms, grounds, etc.
• Regulate heat, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to provide temperatures appropriate to the

season and to insure economical usage of fuel, water, and electricity.

• Clear snow, ice, and debris from walks and steps as appropriate.

• Keep grounds free from rubbish.

• Move furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities and as directed

                by immediate supervisor.

• Maintain an awareness and comply with federal, state, local, district, and building policies, rules,

                and regulations.

• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
