Computer Specialist needed in Adult Education Program for Family Resource Network located in Elementary School. Must be proficient in computers, ereaders, and sofware applications. Instructs all adult education students including English as a second language in a computer (lap-top) lab setting with: MS Office for students of ABE/GED, or Ellis and Intellitools software for students of ESL, and CT Adult Virtual High School. Assists students with development of (technology assisted) career portfolio. Experience working with non-English and limited-English speaking individuals a plus. Must understand educational needs of adults as learners. Must support client recruitment initiatives. Bachelors degree preferred, Associates required. 6 hours per week (Mon, Tues, Wed 9am-11am), Fall and Spring semesters. (Two 14 week sessions each with 84 hours of instruction).
