Assignment:
29 hours per week
Paraprofessional will work with students receiving special
education support.
Using positive behavior supports to teach social skills is also a
part of the position.
The ability to provide positive guidance to students in a manner
that communicates dignity and respect is critical.
This job is not limited to any or all of the following skills,
duties and responsibilities:

Ability to work professionally
with staff, students, parents and other providers

Basic understanding of
technology

Ability to assist with personal
care needs

Some lifting may be required

CPR/First Aid training
preferred

CPI training preferred

Job Coaching experience
preferred
·
Experience and/or knowledge of
seizures
·
Experience and/or knowledge of
behavioral management techniques
·
Dependable attendance
