Area Schools is currently accepting applications for a School Age Childcare Assistant- A 12 month position at Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School. The candidate hired
for this position will provide assistance to Elementary/Preschool students in the School Age Childcare Program "Galaxy Kids Club". Excellent
communication skills and a demonstrated recognition, interest, and
respect for the needs of students and families. Rockford Area Schools delivers " A Tradition Of Excellence One Student At A Time".
Description: Assist in planning and implementing developmentally/ age appropriate activities for school age children. Supervise and work with children, preschool to grade 5. Provide a warm safe welcoming environment for students/families.
Qualifications: Experience working with school aged children ages 3-12. Computer and math skills. Able to
communicate effectively with staff, program leader, parents and
children. first aid & CPR certified preferred
