Required Qualifications:
1) Must possess appropriate middle school license with social studies concentration
2) Must have an understanding of middle school philosophy, and the ability to implement this philosophy.
3) Ability to establish and maintain high academic standards and positive working relationship with students;
4) Demonstrated ability to work well with colleagues;
5) Effective communication skills.
6) Demonstrated ability in classroom management and the use of data driven instruction
Desired Qualifications:
1) Successful experience teaching Geography
2) Experience using formative assessment to immediately impact teaching and student learning
