Role Description
The Teacher is responsible for maintaining a nurturing, safe
environment for the students in their care.
They will be responsible
for supervising all student activities. They will ensure
effective and on-going communication and interaction with the
parents/caregivers. The Teacher will work together with
other MARS Staff to provide high quality instruction to MARS
Students.
Qualifications
The Teacher must hold and maintain a State of North Dakota
teaching license through the North Dakota Education, Standards,
and Practices Board.
They must have completed a
background check and finger printing prior to
employment.
Responsibilities and
Duties
Daily/Weekly:

Lead the
development and implementation of curriculum for the students
·
Establish and
maintain
an attractive, safe,
healthy and nurturing environment for young children
·
Plans and
implements, with other MARS Staff, daily activities for the
students
On-going:
·
Role model
appropriate professional behavior with students, staff, and
parents/guardians
·
Maintain active
communication and relationships with parents/guardians
·
Hiring site
school staff in coordination with the MARS Director
·
Collection of
MARS Staff timesheets at school location
·
Collection of
Student Attendance/Lesson Tracking Sheets
·
Reporting of all
accident/incidents to MARS Director
·
Evaluation of
MARS Staff at site school
·
Participate in
program assessment and goal setting
·
Attend all staff
meetings and trainings
Hours:
5-10 hrs/week
