Extended Day Tutors
7 Stipend Positions for St. Martin de Porres
Directly responsible to Director of School Improvement, indirectly responsible to building principal of assigned school receiving services.
Location:
St. Martin de Porres
Responsibilities:
General Duties
: (1) Targeted Assisted Teachers Tutors provide service to identified students in need of additional instructional support and services after school under the guidelines and regulations of Title One Targeted Assisted program.
Specific Duties:
(1) Provide one on one or small group support in extended day program to student identified for additional instructional support. This is content specific program offering Mathematics supplemental services. Student selection is based on the learning deficit and needs of students identified for the support; (2) Work collaboratively with the regular day classroom teacher in determining data analysis and selection process for students identified to receive additional support/tutoring; (3) Assist regular day teachers in ongoing assessment of student identified for additional instructional support/tutoring providing additional progress monitoring data to the benchmark data and grades used in demonstrating growth of participants; (4) Assist in maintenance of Title One instructional materials at assigned sites.
Miscellaneous:
(1) Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of School Improvement, or the building principal.
Qualifications
: Must have valid Illinois Type 09 Certificate and endorsement in content area (Mathematics/Algebra at Secondary level) as needed to comply with NCLB requirements for highly qualified positions, if content specific.
Salary
: This stipend pay will be for extended day program only for 98 hours @ $35 per hour rate.
