WORK DAY/YEAR: 6.5 hours per day; Approximately 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
SALARY: Minimum $13.32 per hour
Job Summary: * This is a specific job working with students with behavior disorders under the direction of the teacher. *Performs tasks within the level of responsibility of position as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications: *Minimum requirement of two years of college (48 semester credits), a two-year degree, or completion of the Para Pro Assessment. (Please include transcript with application.) *Experience in behavior management techniques. *Ability to assist EBD students with curriculum. *Data collection skills. *Excellent communication and listening skills. *Training or willingness to be trained in nonviolent crisis intervention techniques including physical controls. *Physical requirements: must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Stooping and bending required.
