SUMMARY:
Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and
provide assistance to student swimmers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and one
to three months related experience and/or training.
Lifeguard and CPR certification required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas.
Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first
aid.
Maintains order in swimming areas.
May conduct or officiate at swimming meets.
Provides on deck lifeguarding during instructional time.
Assist in the laundry room.
Checks locker room between classes and after classes
leave.
Other safety duties as need.
Salary: $ 12.16 - $13.89 per hour
