Physical Therapist

Description:

Full time Physical Therapist. Assists in identification, assessment, and parental consultation of children suspected of having physical therapy needs. Provides therapeutic interventions to help students identified as having a disability achieve maximum benefit from the educational program. This person will be working with students with special needs in a public school setting.
 
Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid physical therapy license and certificate from the professional board and the Ohio Department of Education
• Documentation of a clear criminal record
• Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies

• Training and/or experience in behavioral management techniques is preferred
• Training and /or experience in designing and deploying interventions
• Knowledge and experience in the use and care of adaptive equipment, assistive and /or augmentative devices
• Experience with implementing therapeutic plans
