Position Summary
Volunteer Coordinator - Migration and Refugee Services,
Hartford, CT
Responsible for recruiting, organizing and directing
volunteers from local parishes in efforts to assist Migration and
Refugee Services (MRS) program needs. Maintains
communication between MRS staff and volunteers to ensure the best
possible match between program needs and volunteer
capabilities.
Qualifications
Four year college degree or two year equivalent experience
Knowledge of volunteer management
Organizational and communication skills
Ability to empower and motivate others
Experience as a volunteer
Experience supervising regular staff and volunteers
Experience working with Catholic Charities parishes
Linguistic Skills - English
