Part-Time Playground Supervisor

Part-Time Playground Supervisor - approximately 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., school year only.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRABLE AREAS OF COMPETENCY:

• Ability to understand and work well with children
• Ability to communicate well
• Positive attitude and pleasant personality
• Dependable, loyal and in good health
• Flexible, with a strong work ethic and commitment

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will perform duties related to the playground position
• Basic responsibility is monitoring the students on the playground and in the lunchroom
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the building principal or designee

EFFECTIVE DATE:  As soon as possible.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:  Screening by and interview with the building principal or designee.  Work performance to be evaluated by the building principal or designee after the 30-day probationary period and at least annually thereafter.
