Art Teacher for College Preparatory School

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School, a thriving, coeducational Catholic college preparatory high school sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame, seeks a creative and collaborative ART TEACHER to challenge and support our students as they pursue academic excellence and prepare for lives of leadership and service.  Depending upon the successful candidate's expertise and experience, course assignments will include a range of visual arts courses. Course descriptions appear in our course catalog. 

The ideal candidate will:

1. appreciate and advance the school’s mission, vision, and core values in the classroom and beyond.
2. demonstrate understanding and professional expertise in linking curriculum, instruction, and assessment, especially as they relate to preparing students for college success.
3. be experienced with and eager to contribute to collaborative activities, especially professional learning communities.
4. be skilled in contemporary approaches to instruction in visual arts.
5. encourage and facilitate our students' participation in juried art shows.
6. be willing to advise student co-curricular activities.
7. hold or be willing to obtain appropriate licensure from the State of Ohio (must have at least a bachelor's degree in graphic design or art).
