Instructional Assistant - Holmes School (Grade EC - 2)

Instructional Assistant Early Childhood - 8th Grade (Multiple Positions - Holmes, Maercker and Westview Hills Schools) 
6.50 hours per school day 
Salary:  $18 per hour

Description:  To assist the classroom teacher in achieving learning objectives by working with individual students or groups of students to support learning programs in their designated educational environment.  Instructional Assistants provide support with IEPs, literacy, and overall grade level curriculum.

Required License:
Current TA, TASN, Paraprofessional License (ELS-PARA) from the DuPage Regional Office of Education in Wheaton, a Substitute License, or a Professional Educator License with an ELEM,  or SCGE endorsement

Preferred:  
1 to 2 years of experience.
Experience working with elementary level students.  Student teaching counts as experience.
Experience working with students with special needs.
Experience with use of technology to support educational programming.
