Paraprofessional - Dewey Elementary School (SY24/25)

Qualifications:

• Job related experience is desired
• Targeted, job-related education with study in a job-related area preferred 
• Illinois Educator License with Stipulations (PARA), Substitute Teaching License (SUB) or Professional Educator License (PEL) required. For further licensure requirements, visit here.

This would include the District financially supporting the cost of:

• A $100 application fee
• Applicants who do not have (Associate’s degree or higher 60 semester hours of
  coursework by paying for them to complete):
  • ETS Parapro Assessment: $75
  • ACT Workkeys: $57
• 18 hours of paid professional development from District 65

Compensation and Benefits:
6 hours/day, 10-month position 

2024-2025 ETAA salary schedule, Step 1 ($25,448 or $20.69/hour - pro rated based on start date)
