Description
Primary Purpose:
Follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness and efficiency of building operations.
Assist the lead custodian by following routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness and efficiency of building operations. Maintain cleaning of furniture, walls, lights, windows, floors, etc. All work to be done in accordance to the custodial operations policies and procedures manual.

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English for cleaning and safety procedures
Knowledge of minor repair techniques on custodial equipment
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment
Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies
Experience:
None
Salary: Aux Pay Grade 1 – Substitute Custodian - $11.20 per hour (all applicants, if chosen, will begin as a substitute custodian)
Aux Pay Grade 2 – Custodian - $12.10 per hour (when hired as a permanent custodian)
