Elementary Music Teacher
Position Available: 1.0 FTE Elementary Music Teacher
Location: Foley Elementary School is a preK-3 primary school with 600 students and approximately 90 faculty and staff members, located at 743 Penn St., Foley, MN.
Start Date: August 25, 2026
Position Summary: As part of the elementary specialist team, you will be responsible for lesson planning, music instruction, and assessing student development and performance, as well as developing and maintaining collaborative, productive work relationships with colleagues, students, and parents. Applicants should also enjoy teaching in a team environment, have experience with PBIS, believe that all students can learn and grow, and believe that schools should support the whole child socially, emotionally, and academically.
Qualifications:
- Current MN Teaching license in Music, Classroom Music, Vocal and Classroom Music, or Instrumental and Classroom Music.

Extra-Curricular Coaching Opportunities Available
In addition to the primary responsibilities of this position, candidates may have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular coaching and student activity advising, based on qualifications, experience, and district needs. Coaching assignments may include seasonal athletic programs and/or student activities and are compensated separately in accordance with district guidelines and applicable agreements.
