Bartlesville Independent School District #30
Description
Bartlesville's six elementary schools (PreK-5) have an enrollment of approximately 2,930 students. Elementary schools operate on a nurturing, homeroom environment to provide individual support and attention for students. Music, art, and physical education classes are provided in addition to regular classroom subjects. Secondary schools consist of two middle schools (6-8) and a senior high school (9-12) with an enrollment of approximately 3,500 students. In addition to the core curriculum, the secondary program offers a variety of courses such as foreign language, art, music, speech and advanced placement classes. Specialists in the areas of learning disabilities, library, counseling, physical education and vocal and instrumental music serve on the staff at all schools. The district's Special Education program employs specialists to aid exceptional students with physical and mental handicaps. A team of gifted/talented consultants work directly with students and teachers to meet the needs of our gifted student population.
