School District 51 is located in Grand Junction in beautiful western Colorado. The area provides year round outdoor recreational opportunities ranging from mountain biking, camping, hiking, fishing, rafting to skiing. District 51 has 43 schools spread across the "Grand Valley" and is the valley’s largest employer. District 51 is an ever growing district that is utilizing the best methods to teach our students such as our The D51 Learning Model.
