Description

The Cape Henlopen School District is located in Sussex County, Delaware. The district borders the Atlantic Ocean and the Delaware Bay and consists of the towns of Lewes, Milton, and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It consists of one comprehensive high school, two relatively new middle schools, five elementary schools, and one national award-winning Special Needs school were 90 percent of the student body has some degree of Autism. We are the second largest land-area public school district in the state and serve approximately 5,600 students in grades K-12. Our student body consistently ranks in the percentile on the annual Delaware State Testing Program administered every March. Our professional staff salary scale is one of the best in the state of Delaware.
