Located only 15 minutes north of Gainesville and the University of Florida, Bradford County is bordered by Alachua, Clay and Union Counties. Santa Fe Community College is located within the county in the town of Starke. The county is centrally located and in close proximity to I-75 and I-10. With an overall population over 30,000, the county's incorporated cities/towns include: Brooker, Graham, Hampton, Lawtey, Lincoln City, Starke, and Theressa. Known as "The Northern Lake Region," Union, Bradford, and Western Clay Counties lead the state in fresh water lakes. Because of its convenient central location the North Florida Region is a thoroughfare for travelers going north and south, as well as the Gulf Coast to the Atlantic Coast. North Florida is an area that overflows with hospitality, striking historical landmarks, sparkling lakes and managed wildlife areas. The Bradford County School District, in partnership with the entire community, is dedicated to providing a quality education in a safe learning environment so that all students can excel academically and socially in order to become productive citizens.

1.
