Famu Lab Sch

FAMU DRS is one of the state's lab schools. It is a district within itself with an estimated enrollment of 500 students K-12.

The Florida A&M University Developmental Research School (FAMU DRS) will emphasize mathematics, science, computer science, and foreign languages and enhance instruction and research in such specialized courses by using resources available through the University. In addition to providing other instruction in non-specialized courses, the FAMU DRS will foster educational opportunities that encourage each student to develop personal responsibility, respect for individual differences, and an inquiring mind so that each student will continue to learn, develop and apply skills to become a productive citizen in an ever-changing society.
