Description
The West Liberty Community School District is located in a prime area in Eastern Iowa between Iowa City and the Quad Cities, five miles south of Interstate 80 and 15 miles from Iowa City and the University of Iowa. We are a four-campus district, with an Early Learning Center (preschool & kindergarten), elementary school (1-5), middle school (6-8), and high school (9-12). Our district has the longest running dual language program in the state of Iowa; three of our buildings carry the title of International Spanish Academy. In 2017-18, our high school was recognized by U.S. News as the best in the state of Iowa, based on the AP Index! In 2015-16 and 2016-17, our high school was recognized by U.S. News as the 5th best in the state of Iowa, based on the AP Index. In 2017-18, our high school was recognized by U.S. News as #1 in the state of Iowa!
