Description
Uintah School District is located in the northeastern part of Utah. Our district office is located in Vernal, approximately 30 miles from Colorado and 30 miles from Wyoming. We currently employ approximately 320 teachers and between 600 and 700 classified personnel. Our school district contains seven elementary schools, two middle schools, and a high school. Uintah is a rural county currently experiencing growth. Housing costs generally run between $650 and $1500 a month for apartments and some houses. Rooms are renting between $300 and $600 a month.
