Bamberg School District 02

Bamberg 2 is located in a poor, rural area, which is predominantly African-American. The District included three towns, which are Denmark, Olar, and Govan. The town of Denmark is the location for the Elementary School, Middle School and High School. Denmark is a designated enterprise community, and is also recognized as a champion community. There is a strong commitment to educational, social, and economic improvement. The district has adopted as its theme: "Excellence Requires Teamwork;" and as its motto: "In Everything We Do, We Will Demonstrate Excellence."

The mission of the Denmark-Olar School District 2 of Bamberg County is to ensure effective instruction for each student through rich, diverse educational experiences supported by qualified and dedicated professionals.
